Join us for the 26th Annual Race for the Future 5K Run/Walk and Kids Dash to benefit the Lee's Summit Educational Foundation and the Carrie Foresee Memorial Scholarship. Run or walk a 5K course on Saturday, October 8 at 8:00 a.m., beginning at the Lee's Summit West Activity Complex (2600 SW Ward Road, Lee's Summit, MO). Registrations for students and seniors are only $25 (applied at checkout automatically)! Kids 2 and under are free (no t-shirt).
Sign up by September 23 to guarantee a t-shirt on Race day! Packet pick-up will be held on Friday, October 7 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. at the Stansberry Leadership Center (301 NE Tudor Road, Lee's Summit, MO). You may also pick up your packet the morning of the race at the Lee's Summit West High School Activity Complex.
Can't make it, or would rather sleep in? You can still participate as a Dream Partner / Virtual Participant! Dream Partners will receive a shirt, and can snooze while our runners and walkers cruise! Join us as a Virtual Participant and run or walk from any location you choose! You can run, jog or walk on the road, a trail, treadmill, track, your neighborhood - anywhere! With your registration, you'll receive a t-shirt and a link to record your steps.
Kids Dash for children up to 6th grade begins on the track at the conclusion of the 5K Run/Walk (typically between 8:45 and 9 a.m.). Children will run in groups with like-age kids. The oldest children will run approximately 200 meters (half lap). The youngest children will run approximately 50 meters. All participants will receive a participation ribbon. 5K registration is not included with a Kids Dash registration. Please sign up for the 5K and the Kids Dash if you'd like to participate in both events.
