Race Day Packet Pick Up

Details

There will be a table outside of the concession stand with the packets that need to be picked up. Only pre-registered runners will come to you. If they have not registered, send them to the concession stand.
Hand out packets to runners.

Prepare Gatorade

Details

Get igloos ready with Gatorade and deliver to the station by the concession stand.

Concessions Workers High Priority

Details

GO TO THE CONCESSION STAND WHEN YOU ARRIVE.

Help cut and prep food for runners. *Do not cut donuts in half*
Prepare Gatorade and put on table outside of Concession Stand, with bottles of water.
Set out food for runners and keep the food replenished and area clean.
At end of race, clean up concession area. If there is leftover food, see an LSEF Staff member (Chrissy, Cindy, or Shelley) for instructions.

5k Course Monitor

Hydration Station High Priority

Details

There will be a water and Gatorade table off the track. If possible, check in with Cindy Swatek first - but if not, you can go to the designated tables.
Mix up Gatorade.
Fill cups with Gatorade and hand out water bottles.
Bring cooler back to the concession stand when the Race is over. Make sure all trash is cleaned up.

Race Course Hype Squad

Stand along the course and encourage the runners. Be our ENERGY AMBASSADORS!

SATURDAY, OCT. 10th KIDS DASH

Kids Dash Wranglers

(Look for signs that will direct you.)

Report to the south end of the football field or designated starting position by 8:55 am.
MC will announce for all kids to go to the south end of the track where you will organize the kids into like age groups. Encourage kids and help them have FUN!!

Kids Dash Finish Line Crew (hand out prizes) High Priority

Details

GO TO THE VOLUNTEER CHECK IN AT THE CONCESSION STAND WHEN YOU ARRIVE.
(Look for signs that will direct you.)

The Kids Dash starts after the conclusion of the 5k, which is usually around 9:10 am.
Please be at the finish line around 8:55 am.
Greet runners after they cross the finish line.
Give each runner one one bag of goodies.
There will be several age groups.
