Live (in-person) Race FAQs

How can I join you LIVE in person? 

You will be able to join us LIVE and in person on race day, Saturday, July 3, if you register for one of the “live” events - LIVE 5K, Freedom Walk or Kids Fun Run.  Registration is set to close on July 1, or EARLIER if we reach capacity or gathering limits reduce - sign up early to guarantee your spot. If you register for our virtual event please do not join us in person on race day. We wish this situation was different, but need to plan for proper social distancing and crowd control to keep everyone safe. 

Can I register for the race THE DAY OF? 

We hope to be able to offer on-site registration, however, we are still evaluating this in light of COVID-19 restrictions. Please check back for updates!  To ensure your attendance at this event, please pre-register prior to July 1, 2021! We recommend registering as early as possible however, since registration could reach capacity prior to July 1!

What happens if the government changes GATHERING LIMITS?

With the possibility of regulations reducing the number of people we are allowed to have, we will convert your LIVE registration to a virtual registration. If numbers need to be reduced, we will do so on a first come first serve basis - those who register last, will be converted to virtual first. 

Are TIMES verified and will RESULTS be posted? 

YES! For this live event, times will be verified. Chip timing for the 5K will be provided by BestRace.com. Each participant will receive a race bib with a timing chip attached on the back. Your start time will be recorded as you cross the start line and your finish time will be calculated when you cross the finish line. Results will be posted on the website after the race.

Will participants be rewarded based on PERFORMANCE?

We are still evaluating this in light of COVID-19 restrictions. Please check back for updates. 

Will there be any PRIZES?

YES!  In an effort to keep everyone safe this year and avoid crowding, our giveaways will take place online, instead of immediately after the event on-site. We will have prize drawings for official registrants on our Facebook event page during Race Weekend (July 2 -4). Details and winners will be announced in our Facebook event. Please make sure you RSVP as "Going" to the Facebook event so you don't miss any of the fun! 

HOW will I get my TECH TEE? 

Tech tees will be available for pick up on the day of the race! Shirts can only be guaranteed for event-day pickup if you register by June 17. 

What should I WEAR? 

Dress in comfortable running attire and proper running shoes! Our race course is a cross country course - so please plan accordingly! Don't forget, your registration includes a tech tee, so you may want to put that on before the race. We also encourage festive holiday wear and coordinated team outfits! 

Do you offer any DISCOUNTS?

We understand it has been a tough year. If you would benefit from a discount code to attend, please contact us! 

What about SPECTATORS? 

We would love to be able to welcome spectators to this event! We are still evaluating if this will be possible in light of COVID-19 restrictions. Please check back for updates!
