The BOAR has been postponed to 2021

With the care and safety of those in our community at the forefront of our decision making, and due to uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, it is with a heavy heart that HRDC has postponed The BOAR (Blueprint Obstacle Adventure Race) to 2021.

We know this is disappointing for racers, sponsors, and our community. We are thinking creatively about how we continue to raise awareness and support for youth experiencing moments of homelessness in our community. Stay tuned for opportunities to connect and engage.

Hardcore for The BOAR

Join us for The BOAR (Blueprint Obstacle Adventure Race), an inaugural 5K & 1K race to support and spread awareness

of youth experiencing homelessness in our community.  It is a family-friendly team-oriented event. It is open to all ability

levels and will challenge team members to problem-solve and overcome obstacles together. Our community is encouraged to

participate as a troop of two or more!

5K Race

The 5K is an obstacle race designed to test your mental and physical strength and challenge team members to problem-solve and overcome obstacles together. It will start and finish at Glen Lake Rotary Park (formerly East Gallatin Recreation Area). There will be prizes. Competitive heats will be available.

1K Race

The 1K is a unique opportunity for individuals of all abilities to participate in an obstacle race.  People with developmental and mobility disabilities are welcome.  We want everyone in our community to experience The BOAR and we are working hard to design obstacles to be inclusive to most abilities. There will be a diversity of prizes.
