Finisher's Awards
There is only one finisher for a backyard ultra. Everyone else receives this bumper sticker. It is a badge of honor that only and only those brave enough to take on this race are cool enough to have one of these on the back of their Suburu.
This 3.5" custom belt buckle will be waiting for anyone who successfully completes 24 hours, and thus, 100 miles or more. These priceless keepsakes, are just that, priceless. They will be presented in a velvetish bag to these hardy folks, courtesy of the race. What a bargain!
Finisher Prize
That's right, the finisher of the Mackyard Ultra will be presented with this: a custom-made 6 lb championship belt! Just imagine what your friends will think when their Strava and Instagram feeds are littered with photos and videos of you hoisting this glorious monument to your stubborness and preening like your favorite professional wrestler!
There is a catch: you don't get to keep it. :(
Fret not, you get something better than a massive belt that clashes with your decor: public bragging rights! This belt will be publicly displayed at Peabody Heights Brewery, the favorite local spot for our race founder and namesake. You can take your friends, family, childhood bullies, etc. to Peabody Heights and they can gawk at this permanent symbol of your awesomeness, along with the picture and name of each winner.
