2023 T-Shirt Design
Using the Mission Inn Run's original moniker, our 2023 Mission Inn Run T-shirt design features the Amistad Dome rising against the backdrop of the San Gabriel Mountains. Adorned with colorful glazed Mexican tiles and prominent golden raincross, the Amistad Dome is an iconic feature of the historic Mission Inn. The Amistad Dome was designed by renowned Riverside architect G. Stanley Wilson as part of the Rotunda Wing expansion, finished in 1931, and has alternately been referred to as the University Club, Bridal Suite and Anne Cameron Room.
2023 Medal Design
With this year’s medal design, we decided to go back to our roots with a new spinning raincross design based on the Amistad Dome's iconic glazed Mexican tilework. This iconic symbol has represented Riverside for over 100 years, gifted by Frank A. Miller, founder of the Mission Inn, to his beloved city. Every participant in the 5K, 10K and ½ Marathon will receive their own special medal.
