HOW TO RUN A VIRTUAL RACE
- REGISTER - Sign up for the race you want to participate in, here on the Run Sign Up registration page.
- SWAG – We ask all Virtual Runners to pick up their SWAG (Stuff We All Get) at the Moon Parks Office. Racers can pick up bags on June 26th between 4 and 7pm. Bags can also be mailed with a delivery fee of $10.
- RUN YOUR RACE - The next step is to run the race you signed up for between the dates that are specified in the instructions or on the web site. Since this is a "Virtual" event, you can run wherever and whenever you want. Unless there are explicit instructions stating otherwise, you can run the distance all at once, or break it into multiple runs on different days. Remember, Virtual = Flexible.
- POST RESULTS - After completing your "Race", please post your results to this web site, using the Results link at the top of the page. There are no awards for our virtual races, as everything is on the honor system when posting race results.
- PRINT YOUR FINISHERS CERTIFICATE - After you run your race, be sure to print your custom finishers certificate. Simply click on your name in the results page after they are posted and click the link below your bib number in the upper right hand corner. See photo below.
- UPLOAD PHOTOS ONTO YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA AND SHARE
After completing your race, posting your results and printing your finishers certificate, feel free to post to our Facebook page a picture of yourself with your bib on, your running partners, your GPS watch, etc. Don't forget we will be picking contest winners from your submissions.
