We have always enjoyed living active lives - Josh grew up playing tennis, while I (Laura) danced and ran cross country. Since Highschool,  I have sought after this thrill of adventure-seeking by focusing on the community that I gravitated towards the most: Runners. I've now ran a lot of races, organized and led Run clubs, taught fitness classes, and then becoming a race director just sort of happened!

In the beginning, I'd organize races without charging a dime. Just because I LOVED it! I'd invite my close friends and family (who all still run at our events to this day!) to run my small races around Bountiful. Racing isn't all in the competition (although that's fun too!), but it's so much more. It's about every minute when you conquer your inner voice that keeps saying "you can't". It's about seeing the wonders of the world as you travel through tunnels of orange, red, and yellow-leafed trees and take in the grand views at the top of ridge lines. It's about the comradere when some stranger yells "go go GO!" as you come down the finish line shoot. Simply put, It's about making awesome memories that don't fade with time.
