Communication Counts 5k

On Saturday, March 23, 2024, Charlotte Speech and Hearing Center will host its 5th annual Communication Counts 5k timed race and Kids Dash at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte. This event will raise critical funds that provide access to superior speech-language and hearing services that empower and transform lives to anyone in need in our community.

Registrants will receive a t-shirt and 5k racers will also receive a race medal; however, late registrants may not receive a shirt. We will also be awarding prizes to: 

• 1st place male and female
• 2nd and 3rd place male and female
• the Team That Raises The Most
• the Most Spirited Team
• the Largest Team
• and the Biggest Fan Award (for our best social media fan) 

Packet pickup will be held at the following times:

• Thursday, March 21st from 11am-1pm at Charlotte Speech and Hearing Center's Charlotte Clinic, 817 E. Morehead St., 3rd floor
• Thursday, March 21st from 5:30-7pm at NoDa Brewing's North End Taproom
• Friday, March 22nd from 7:30-9am at Madison Perk Coffee Bar
• Saturday, March 23rd from 7:30-8:30am at McAlpine Creek Park prior to the race
