Description
Experience Historic Cramerton from a unique perspective at our 6th annual Goat Island Games 5K & 5 Miler! We’re pumped to show you everything that makes Cramerton awesome! We are once again going to start and finish on beautiful Goat Island, our 40-acre park in the middle of the South Fork Catawba River. Runners will speed through beautiful Downtown Cramerton and pass our powerful Veteran’s Memorial, travel up picturesque 8th Avenue, parallel Cramerton’s iconic train trestle, and run through Stuart Cramer High School’s state of the art campus. The course will peak at Cramerton’s unique, three-story public art sculpture and gateway round-a-bout before finishing on a fast downhill through the tree-lined streets of the Lakewood Neighborhood and crossing under the finishers arch back on Goat Island Park!
The 5K race will be chip timed and awards will be handed out to the top three overall male and female finishers and the following age groups:
14 & under
15 - 19
20 - 24
25 - 29
Five-year increments to 60+
The 5 Miler race will be chip timed and awards will be handed out to the top three overall male and female finishers and the following age groups:
19 and under
20 - 29
30-39
40-49
50-59
60+
RACE FEES
5K $30 pre-registration until May 5th. Packet Pickup Day (5/5) and RACE DAY (5/6) registration is $40. Pre-registration is online only.
5 MILER $40 pre-registration until May 5th. Packet Pickup Day (5/5) and RACE DAY (5/6) registration is $50. Pre-registration is online only.
Registration includes a chip-timed bib, 100% recycled race shirt, pre and post-race hydration, custom awards for overall winners and custom medals or awards for age group winners, and one heck of a good time in Cramerton, NC!
*Race is rain or shine and registration fees are non-refundable
