Experience the magic and challenge of 17 miles of running and 2 miles of swimming broken up into 10 technical trail runs and 9 swims at Hanging Rock State Park in NC - in teams of two. SwimRun NC offers stunning scenery, challenging waterfalls and a good amount of elevation gain and loss, great swag, beer at the finish, unique awards and much more. The course with all the fall colors is very beautiful but it is extremely difficult terrain and could possibly take place in very challenging conditions. This is not an individual event and teams of two can be either male/male, male/female or female/female and wetsuits in this race are mandatory. We think great race photography is super important, and we always provide our starting athletes with amazing pictures.
We all work for this race as volunteers and took 2023 off but will return with a race in 2024 on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Registration starts on January 1, 2024.
