Countdown to Kickoff!

Operation Jody Can't Run This Fast
Roses are red. Violets are blue. Jody skipped leg day, but we never do.
For those unfamiliar, "Jody" is the legendary character from military cadences. He's the guy back home causing trouble while you're away. This Valentine's Day, we're flipping the script. You're too fast, too dedicated, and too focused for any Jody to keep up.
This is a virtual challenge. That means you can participate from anywhere in the world. Run your neighborhood. Hit the treadmill. Find a trail. Whatever works for you. Track your mileage using your favorite app (Strava, Garmin, Apple Watch, or whatever you've got), log your miles, and chase your goal throughout the month.
Operation WarriorFit exists to build community through fitness. Whether you're a veteran, service member, first responder, or simply someone who wants to be part of something bigger, you belong here. These challenges are about more than miles. They're about finding your people, building consistency, and crossing finish lines together, even when we're miles apart.
This challenge is focused on running, but stay tuned throughout the year as we roll out challenges for other disciplines including rucking, cycling, swimming, and more.
Whether you're spending Valentine's Day with someone special, your workout crew, or just you and the road, lace up and let's go.
Free to join. Donations welcome but never required.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Operation WarriorFit (OWF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering veterans, service members, and first responders through fitness, community, and the belief that finish lines are lifelines. We provide free race entries, virtual challenges, and a supportive community for those who have served and those who support them.
This is a virtual running challenge hosted by Operation WarriorFit. Participants set a mileage goal (50, 125, or 200 miles), log their miles throughout the month, and work toward completing that goal. You can run anywhere in the world, on any terrain, at any pace. The goal is to stay consistent, challenge yourself, and be part of a community that's doing it alongside you.
Everyone. While Operation WarriorFit's mission focuses on veterans, service members, and first responders, these challenges are open to anyone who wants to be part of something bigger. Whether you served, support those who serve, or simply want to join a fitness-focused community, you belong here.
These monthly challenges are currently focused on running (including treadmill running). However, we will be rolling out challenges for other disciplines throughout the year, including rucking, cycling, swimming, and more. Stay tuned for announcements.
No. Registration is completely free. We offer optional donations to support Operation WarriorFit's mission, but donating is never required to participate.
100% of donations go directly to supporting Operation WarriorFit's programs, including providing free race entries to veterans, service members, and first responders.
Click the registration button on the challenge page and follow the prompts. You will need to create a RunSignUp account if you don't already have one. Registration is free.
We offer three mileage tiers so participants of all levels can find a challenge that fits:
- Embrace the Suck (50 Miles): For those starting out, rebuilding, or balancing life with training. Every mile counts.
- Full Send (125 Miles): For consistent runners ready to push their monthly volume.
- Zero Dark Thirty (200 Miles): For the warriors putting in serious work. No excuses, no shortcuts.
Pick the tier that challenges you but is achievable with consistent effort. If you currently run 10-15 miles per week, the 50-mile tier is a great starting point. If you're already running 30+ miles per week, consider the 125 or 200-mile tier.
