Over 785 million people around the world walk miles every day to collect dirty water, and we want to change that!
Diamond Umpire Academy has teamed up with neverthirst to get moving for a great cause and help fund clean water projects around the world.
Sign up here — The fee directly helps bring clean water to someone in need!
Walk or run 3.1 miles — Map out a route in your neighborhood, at a nearby open trail, or knock it out on your treadmill. Want to track your distance? Use your favorite fitness tracker or apps like Nike+ Run Club, MapMyRun, Endomondo, Runtastic, RunKeeper, etc. We would love to see a sweaty selfie (optional and fun) or screenshot of your distance/completion time to social media and tag neverthirst or use #DUAvirtual5kforneverthirst. (Or message us if your account is private.)
You’ll receive a bib number when you register. Once you've completed the race you can submit your results through your runsignup profile page. Medals will be shipped to participants after July 6 (when race closes).
If you'd like to make a donation and receive a t-shirt, you can do that by visiting the following link:
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or to input your results (name, bib number, time of completion). Invite a few friends or family members to join you—even from a distance. Let’s get moving and help more vulnerable communities have access to clean and living water! We appreciate you!!
