Point-to-Point 10K course that starts at Ingall's supermarket and finishes at Rumbling Bald Resort.
NOTE: This is a difficult course with lots of elevation changes.
Slam the Dam 10K - Detailed Race Information
The Slam the Dam 10K is part of the Lake Lure Olympiad - featuring multiple events produced by the Lake Lure Olympiad Committee.
Set Up Events is proud to have supported the Lake Lure Olympiad Committee for 20 years. Set Up produces and directs the Lake Lure Triathlon, along with providing timing and results services for both the Slam the Dam 10K and the Race to the Rock 5K on Sunday morning.

Race Logistics
Free shuttle transportation from the Rumbling Bald Resort (Race Finish) to Ingles Supermarket (Race Start) is provided.
1 Shuttle will depart Rumbling Bald at 5:30 pm.
Please be aware that shuttle is limited and is on a first come/first serve basis.
The trip to Inlges is approx. 25' - 30'
For anyone who parked their vehicle at Ingles - vans will make one trip from Rumbling Bald back to Ingles following the award ceremony about 8:45 pm.
The best alternative is to come with a friend or family member who can drop you off at Ingles and then drive to the race finish at Rumbling Bald.
