Description

First, the Good News: as of today, January 29, 2021, the Little River Trail Runs in-person races are still on for Saturday, January 8, 2022!

However, due to Omicron and concerns for both our runners and our awesome volunteers, we are updating our COVID precautions. Some of these may not be a big deal to most of you, but there are some that the new rules might inconvenience, and for that we apologize but are fully committed to doing our best to limit the risk factors for transmission.

The Changes (Please read, these are important):

    • All In-person runners will be required to show ID, proof of vaccination and booster at bib pickup. No exceptions.
    • If your under 16 year old child is registered for the in-person race, we will contact you separately.
Rest assured, all volunteers must be masked, and fully vaccinated.
    • There will be no aid stations on the course to eliminate any potential gathering of runners. We will have roaming course monitors for safety purposes, but please make sure you are prepared to run a self-supported race (carry your own hydration and food needs).
    • Unlike previous years, we will not have hot chocolate, bagels, and soup after the race to eliminate any potential gathering of runners. Instead, there will be water and bananas available to grab as you finish the race.
    • Please resist the urge to gather together under the pavilion as you finish the race.

Race Details:

Cost: $45 (we donate all proceeds greater than event costs to Little River Regional Park and to trail-building at the Park)
