MSDA Meghan Doyle '05K - Live  AND Virtual in 2022!
We are looking forward to offering our runners the option to participate in the MSDA Meghan Doyle ‘05K either on campus or as a virtual race. Making the switch to a virtual race in 2020 enabled our extended Mount community to participate from the safety of their own homes (think treadmill), yards (lots of laps) or local neighborhood sidewalks and streets (maintaining safe distances, of course), while continuing to support this important cause.
This is an exciting and innovative way for us to host the event and carry on its mission, and at the same time, extend greater participation to our friends in the  running community.

The MSDA Meghan Doyle '05K Will Return to Campus in 2022!
We are very excited that the 2022 MSDA Meghan Doyle '05K will once again return to our campus. The live race will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Details will be posted on this site in the coming weeks.

You can still run in The Virtual MSDA Meghan Doyle '05K
If you won't be able to join us on the campus of Mount St. Dominic Academy on May 7, 2022, you can "run" the Virtual MSDA Meghan Doyle '05K anytime between May 5, and midnight on May 9, in the location of your choice, at your convenience*. Plan your favorite route, whether it may be around the park, neighborhood, back yard, or on your treadmill.

When you register for the race, you will be assigned a bib number. You will have the option to print out your bib for the Virtual MSDA Meghan Doyle ‘05K which can be worn during your race (for your photo ops). We hope you will share your photos with us on social media using the #MSDA05K.

When you are ready to go, just pin your bib to your shirt, get out there and run, jog, or walk those 5 kilometers (3.1 miles). We recommend you plan your course in advance to verify the distance, and keep track of your time while running the race.
Once you have completed your course, have rehydrated, maybe had a bagel, and patted yourself on the back for a job well done, text, email or upload your time to the Virtual MSDA Meghan Doyle '05K results page. Instructions will be sent to you prior to race day. Trust us, this is the easy part!

We hope you will consider the option that works best for you and your family. Most of all, we want to thank you for your continued support of the students Mount St. Dominic Academy!

About the MSDA Meghan Doyle '05K

In May 2022, we will celebrate the eighth "running" of the MSDA Meghan Doyle 05K, which benefits the Tuition Assistance Program at Mount St. Dominic Academy in Caldwell, New Jersey. The race is held in memory of Meghan C. Doyle, a 2005 graduate of MSDA, who passed away in 2013 after a brief illness.
It was Meghan's goal in 2013 to become more involved with her alma mater, and to run a 5K. The race was developed to help Meghan achieve these goals, and to provide assistance to families who want to offer their daughters a Mount St. Dominic Academy education.
Since 2015, generous donations and participation have raised over $140,000 to benefit a scholarship fund in memory of Meghan Doyle '05 that affords young women the opportunity to receive a Mount education.
