2023 ATHLETE GUIDE

Hainesport Endurance Run!
This event is sanctioned by USA Track & Field. 10% of every entry will be donated to the Hainesport EMS***

MANY EVENTS: 12 Hour, 24 Hour,100 Mile, and 48 Hour + Relay Options!

100 Mile: 30-hour time limit. You must complete 80 loops (79.28 miles) by 9 am Sunday to be allowed to continue.

This is a PAVED, flat, and fast loop at Hainesport Township Park in New Jersey.

DETAILS FOR ALL EVENTS
Direction: Runners run a counter-clockwise loop.

Aid Station: There will be one fully stocked aid station set up near the loop start/finish area. It will be stocked with typical ultra fare. For example: quesadillas, pb&j, bacon, burgers, hot dogs, egg burritos, pancakes, vegan options, water, gatorade. soda, coffee, and tea.

Timing: Laps will be recorded by electronic chip timing and will be submitted for USATF, IAU and GOMU record purposes.

Personal Space: Each participant may set up in a 10'x10' area near the start/finish of the loop starting at 7am on race morning. There is ample space around the course to set up your own tables, chairs, blankets and/or tents. Portable heaters ARE permitted. There is a covered gazebo (see photo to the left) that is just off of the path. Some of that space will be used by race staff. Electricity is available, but outlets must be shared. **There is no overnight camping permitted prior to or at the conclusion of the event.**

Restrooms: There are heated restroom facilities with running water located on the course within the loop. 

NO PACERS: No pacers are permitted for this event. You may not have friends, family, or crew walk with you for any loop or any portion of a loop per USA Track & Field Rules. NO EXCEPTIONS. No trekking poles if you wish to be record eligible. 

USA Track & Field: This event is sanctioned and certified by USA Track & Field. 

Awards: All participants who don't complete 100 miles will receive a medal. Those who achieve 100 miles or more will earn a coveted Hainesport buckle.

Transfers, Deferrals and Bib Exchanges

We love our participants and we want you to feel secure when registering for one of our races. With the use of Runsignup.com's platform we can now offer the following solutions for those who can no longer participate or who would like to change events.

EVENT TRANSFER: Change from one event to another within the same race for a $5 transfer fee (if applicable).
DEFERRAL VIA VOUCHER CREDIT: Receive a voucher credit for the amount you paid for registration. Voucher credit expires 365 days from being issued and is good for use on any Beast Coast Productions event. There is a $10 deferral fee.
RACE BIB TRANSFER: You will have the option to transfer your race bib to another runner of your choosing for a $10 transfer fee. This must be done before registration closes.
           To edit or transfer your race registration: Log into your RunSignUp account. Go to your “Profile” page, click the “My Registered Races” and view a list of your               registrations separated by race, event,  date  and registrant. Next to each registrant, you will be able to “View/Edit Registration,” which is where you will need                 to go to transfer your registration to another participant.  

How do I transfer my Race Entry/Bib to another runner or to another race distance?

Runners can transfer their race to another runner ($10 fee), or to another race event within the same race if applicable ($5 fee). What are my event options?

12 hour, 24, hour,  100 Miler, 48 hour, 12 hour relay, & 24 hour relay


What is the course for the Hainesport Endurance Run?

All events will utilize the Hainesport Endurance Run loop with certification #NJ20025JLW is .9913/mile long. The loop will be run counter clockwise and will be used as our primary loop for this race. 

The Hainesport Alternate loop with certification #NJ20026JLW  is 1.2034 miles long. This loop will be used if there is water on the Hainesport Endurance Run loop or for any other reason race staff may find necessary. Once the race starts, the loop we are using will not be changed. 


Will you offer refunds for registration?

Currently, we do not offer refunds for any of our races.
We encourage you to take advantage of the following options for normal race occurrences:  

PURCHASE RACE INSURANCE THROUGH ALLIANZ: Race day insurance is offered through  Allianz and has to be purchased at the time of registration.  
To File a Claim: Use the policy number you received when you completed your insurance purchase to make the claim HERE. 
          *Please read through the Allianz policy, as pandemic coverage is not guaranteed. For all questions about your Insurance policy, please contact Allianz.

How do I get my race bib?

Packet pick up will take place 1 hour prior to your start time at the pavilion.

Is there an age requirement to run?

No, this is a family friendly event.


Where do I park on race day?

Free parking is available at Hainesport Township Park.
