The Tough Cookie Run is more than a 5K — it’s a celebration of resilience, nature, and giving back. This year’s race supports the Jefferson High School Football Team, helping fund resources and opportunities for local student-athletes.
Walkers and hikers are welcome — this is an inclusive event for all who want to move with meaning.
Parking: On site, on streets (do not block driveways or mailboxes, you will be towed) You can also park at Little Nikki's and on the side street by Bridge Marina. Carpooling is encouraged.

💜 In Memory of Lynette Denson
This race also honors Lynette Denson, founder of Tru Nature Yoga and a beloved part of our community. In 2020, Lynette completed this very trail — 3.1 miles — just weeks after a hip replacement and in the midst of her fight with cancer. She passed in 2021, but her strength and grace remain the heart of this event.
