NEW IN 2021 - RUN IT FORWARD
The Novo Nordisk New Jersey Marathon is pleased to announce the establishment of the Run It Forward program in 2021. RIF is an effort to reduce financial barriers to entry and make the NJM more accessible to underrepresented and underserved communities in NJ, neighboring states and throughout the US. In 2021, RIF will provide complimentary entries to the marathon, half marathon and 5K (in-person AND virtual options) to individuals who are facing financial hardship through the generosity of contributions to the RIF fund.
Thank you NJM runners for making the 2021 Run It Forward donations program a resounding success. For 2021 we have the funds we need to award complimentary entries and complete the full roster.
If you or a deserving athlete you know wants to be considered for a complimentary entry to the marathon, half marathon or 5K (IP + VR), runners complete the brief Run It Forward Athlete Survey. Once a survey has been submitted, the applicant will be contacted directly with next steps for completing a NJM 2021 race entry.
