100 Miler Logistics
Runner start times will be staggered based on your reported paces to ensure arrival during normal trail hours.
*No running may be done on the trails during “closed” hours between 10 pm and 5 am.
The 100 mile journey will be split into two days with a mandatory overnight rest period in Bellevue.
Day 1:
- Runners will start anywhere from 6 am until 10:30 am on Friday, August 22nd in Greeley, and will receive their start time in June depending on their reported pace
- You can be dropped off at the start or leave a vehicle at Island Grove (start)
- You can have a crew vehicle meet you at each designated Exchange for food/water/gear, or utilize the water/fuel provided by the race every 2 - 5 miles
- Drop bags are allowed and can include an optional tent for sleeping at the Race Camp Site (at the end of day 1).
- Drop bags will be available at the end of Day 1, 50 miles, in Bellvue, where all 100 mile runners will rest/eat, until Day 2 begins as early as 5 am on Saturday, August 23rd
- Dinner from Verns Cafe will be provided to all solo 100 Mile Runners at the end of Day 1
- Runners WILL NOT be allowed on course between 10 pm and 5 am per permitting restrictions
- The Race Camp Site will feature one large tent with cots, plenty of space for self tent or ground camping, vehicle camping, food, a hand washing station and portable restrooms
- Day One: 50 Mile course cutoff: 16 Hours
Day 2:
- Runners will leave camp and begin running between 5 am and 7 am, as assigned by Race Directors, depending on anticipated pace
- This is also when the 50 mile runners begin
- All drop bag and tent/camping items will be transported to the Finish Line (Island Grove)
- Runners will arrive at the finish line in Greeley, and MUST arrive no later than 8:45 pm
- Day Two: 50 Mile course cutoff: 15.5 Hours
