NoCo Urban Ultra & Relay

August 22 - 23, 2025 Poudre River Trail - Fort Collins, Timnath, Windsor and Greeley

Frequently Asked Questions

Will there be transportation/shuttles from Greeley to Bellevue?

Yes, we are coordinating transportation for the 50-mile runners, allowing them to leave their vehicles near the finish line in Greeley and take a shuttle to the start. We recommend carpooling when possible or being dropped off in Bellevue for your start wave to reduce anxiety during the shuttle ride.

Is there parking at the finish line?

Yes, there is plenty of parking available at the finish line area. We encourage carpooling, as the Island Grove compound will host multiple events that weekend, not just our race.

Will there be food post-race?

Absolutely! A variety of food options will be available for all athletes, along with festive drinks, snacks, music, and activities at the finish line. We will accommodate various dietary restrictions, but we cannot guarantee that all allergy needs will be met. Optional high fives and hugs will also be available!

Can my relay team carpool?

Yes! Carpooling is highly encouraged to keep the exchange zones organized and to boost team camaraderie.

Can my team set up at exchange zones?

Yes, teams may only switch runners at designated exchange and aid station zones. Given that this is an overnight race, we discourage excessive noise (like cheering) during middle of the night quiet hours to maintain a good relationship with the local communities.

Do you have cutoff times for this race?

Yes, the cutoff times are as follows:

  • 100-mile athletes (solo or relay teams) must finish within 30 hours.

  • 50-mile athletes (solo or relay teams) must finish within 12 hours. Please contact us if you need a longer finish time.

Can someone else pick up my packet for me?

Typically, no. We do not allow others to pick up packets for registered athletes unless they are under 18 years old. If you cannot pick up your packet during the designated hours, you may do so on race day. If someone else will pick it up for you, please email the race directors in advance and they must show a copy of your photo ID.

Does each relay team member need to register?

Yes, all relay team members must register separately. This ensures we collect important information about each athlete, including emergency contacts, signed waivers, and t-shirt sizes.

Can I wear headphones or earphones during the race?

Only bone-conducting headphones or portable speakers worn externally are allowed. Inner ear headphones are prohibited due to safety concerns, as athletes and pedestrians may pass you with verbal cues, and staff and volunteers may give directions. Additionally, sections of the course do cross roads and traffic will not be stopped.

Can I have pacers run with me if I am doing either of the solo distances?

Yes, pacers are allowed. They must check in with you at packet pickup or on race morning to receive a designated 'pacer' run bib and sign event waivers. Pacers may join at the 50 mile mark for 100 mile runners and 25 mile mark for the 50 mile runners. Pacers may join at designated exchange zones or aid stations along the course ONLY.

Are there mile markers on the course?

Distance information will be available along certain sections of the course. The course will be fully marked for turns and at road crossings. While the physical course won't have mile markers for every mile, each segment is well defined in our athlete guide and map sections, which can be viewed prior to race weekend.

Can I run with my stroller?

Strollers are welcome during daylight hours only. If you plan to run with a stroller, please ensure it does not impede regular trail use for pedestrians or cyclists and does not interfere with other athletes.

Can I run with my dog?

Due to potential congestion on the course and the distance of this event, dogs are not allowed by runners.

When can I pick up my race bib and items?

Packet pickup will occur two days prior to race weekend, with additional announcements regarding multiple pickup times and locations to ensure accessibility for all athletes.
