A collaboration event between run.Windsor and Breakaway Athletic Events celebrating the Poudre River Trail. This long-distance race takes you on a sprawling tour of Northern Colorado via the picturesque Poudre River Trail. You'll enjoy scenic views and local amenities through Fort Collins, Timnath, Windsor and Greeley.

While ultra distances can be daunting, this race is an ideal option for beginners and seasoned-athletes alike. With a fully supported course, first-rate aid stations and abundant exchange zones this truly epic journey makes for an unforgettable running experience.

The 50 mile race is point-to-point run. Starting in Bellvue on Saturday morning runners will travel through Fort Collins, Timnath and Windsor to complet their journey in Greeley.

The 100 mile race is an out and back run. Starting in Greeley on Friday afternoon runners will travel through Windsor, Timnath and Fort Collins to Bellvue (the northern most tip of the Poudre River Trail) before turning back. Both races finish together on Saturday afternoon.

Our post race party is waiting for all finishers at Island Grove in Greeley, with medals for all participants and belt buckles for 100 and 50 mile solo ultra runners. Celebrate your epic race accomplishment with music, food, snacks, drinks as well as multiple cold plunges, massages and recovery areas! Podium awards will be waiting for the top runners and teams.

We're excited to share this journey with you and be a part of the newly completed Poudre River Trail spanning through many beautiful areas in Northern Colorado...the place we call home.

(Please Note: One mile of the trail in Timnath is currently unfinished with plans for Spring 2025 completion. There is a contingency plan for that section should progress be delayed. Permitting through all four towns/cities and two counties is currently underway)

A Race Collaboration

The Northern Colorado athletic community is strong and vibrant. Coming together to support this community was an easy decision for race directors Mandy Mullen of miles.Beyond and run.Windsor and JB Tobin of Breakaway Athletic Events. Both are passionate about empowering and enhancing the well-being of individuals in the communities they serve.

Partnering with the Poudre River Trail Authority, surrounding entities and local businesses highlight their commitment to detail and creating events that bring people together to celebrate the unique strengths of local communities. Ensuring an unparalleled experience for all participants is part of our vision for this race.
