Other Tips

Please hydrate well the day before the race and apply your sunscreen before the run.  We will have one water station on the course at Mile 1.5 and one at the finish line.  If you choose to carry hydration on the course, please make sure it is one of your own reusable containers.  No plastic water bottles will be allowed on the course to prevent litter on our beautiful trails.

Be Mindful of Desert Dwellers.  This is a national conservation area and as we take to the trails, we enter the natural habitat for many amazing creatures, including ground squirrels, tortoises, and the occasional burro.  There are also snakes, scorpions and other critters, so please be mindful of the environment and do not touch, feed or engage with these animals.
