Brady Heart Foundation will be hosting a 1000 mile virtual "race". This event is a way for participants to stay active and motivated all year long. When you register you can log miles by either joining our Facebook events page or you can email the race director with your monthly total at email@example.com Logging miles will be done at the end of every month. When you reach the monthly goal you will be entered into a drawing for a prize. Each winner will be chosen and announced publicly on Facebook live. Prizes have included items from our sponsors as well as gift cards to places such as Amazon and runningwarehouse.com prizes will be shipped through USPS within 14 days after the winner is announced unless otherwise specified to the winner. Each month requires approximately 80 miles to stay on target to accumulating 1000 miles. How can you accumulate miles? Well basically any way you want, Running, hiking, walking, swimming, or even biking. We just ask that these miles be dedicated moments and not steps squired on a Fitbit or other device. We recognize that with some of these activities miles can be accumulated quicker than others. We have a process to make sure that those who participate by cycling will accumulate less raffle tickets than a swimmer or walker. Participants who register and complete all 1000 miles will receive a finishers medal. You may do all 1000 miles on your own or with a team of up to 5 participants. Good luck!
