The Springbrook Foundation is excited to present the Springbrook 5K - Miles for a Mission, which supports Springbrook's mission to empower individuals with developmental disabilities by providing exceptional, person-centered services that foster independence, promote personal growth, and nurture a sense of belonging.

Race Details
REGISTRATION
NO PACKET PICKUP ON 9/27/24. Please pickup race day from 9-10 am.
To register on race day please arrive between 9-9:45 am. The race begins at 10 am.

Day of Cost: Adult (15 & over) - $35 | Youth (14 & under) - $25
PRIZES
Runners will be awarded cash prizes in the 5K Run for the overall top 3 Female and top 3 Male:
1st Place - $500
2nd Place - $250
3rd Place - $100
1st - 3rd will also receive 3 personal training sessions and 1 free running form assessment ($300 value) from RunFit Peak Performance.

Think DIFFERENTLY
The “ThinkDIFFERENTLY” initiative was launched in 2015 by then Dutchess County Executive, Marc Molinaro. It seeks to change the way individuals, businesses, organizations and communities relate to our neighbors with special needs. “ThinkDIFFERENTLY” is a call to action, a genuine challenge to determine if we have it within ourselves to look past our differences and treat others the way we would hope to be treated. Too often, too many with special needs are overlooked and their unique abilities ignored. Instead, we seek to lift each other up and embrace all residents of all abilities.
FIELD DAYS
After the race kids are invited to check out the Think Differently Field Days hosted by Congressman Marc Molinaro and his team. Various local organizations and businesses will be on hand hosting fun games and activities for kids to take part in (list of organizations coming soon).
CAMP
Take a minute to check out the Think Differently Camp. Congressman Marc Molinaro and his team will be hosting a camp for individuals with developmental disabilities
HOW TO MAKE A DONATION
We encourage everyone to make a donation through the Springbrook 5K website to ensure your contribution is immediately credited to an individual or team fundraiser. If you would prefer to make an "offline" donation by check, please make your check payable to the Springbrook Foundation and send your contribution to the following address:

HOW TO CREATE OR JOIN A TEAM
First, register for the event. You will then be directed to a fundraising page. Here you can create or join a team. Existing teams will appear on a drop down menu. Pick the team you wish to join or click the button to create a new team.
Team fundraising makes the Miles for a Mission 5K experience all the more fun and meaningful. When all your positive energy spreads through your team, you wind up raising more. Teams make a difference!
If you raise $250 or more, you will receive 1 complimentary race registration. PRIZES will be awarded to the top team and individual fundraisers and EVERY TEAM CAPTAIN will be entered into a drawing to win some fantastic prizes! Help us put the FUN in FUNdraising and create or join a team today!
