Springbrook 5K - Miles for a Mission: Monster Dash Volunteer Registration

Registration & Set up Volunteers

8:00 am EDT - 12:00 pm EDT (At least 10 more needed)

Details

Duties:
o Arrive at the Volunteer Tent no later than 7:30 am
o Set up signage throughout the park
o Event set up (tents, tables, chairs, etc.)
o Registration
o Cheer on the 5k participants and Monster Trot participants!

Race Marshal Volunteers

Details

Duties:
o Arrive at the Volunteer Tent no later than 10:15am (this provides time to get to
your assigned location on the course).
o Keep runners and walkers safe during the race
o Guide runners to the starting line, warn them of obstacles, and communicate
about approaching traffic/monitor road crossings
o Prevent spectators from entering the course
o Assist runners who need help, including those in need of medical support
monitor road crossings and man checkpoints to give out water.

Water Station Volunteers

o Manage the water station
o Offer water to runners/walkers
o Remove litter from the ground/surrounding area

First Aid Station Volunteers High Priority

o Provide first aid to any runners or walkers throughout the race.

Fall Festival Volunteers

Details

Duties (multiple volunteers per role)

o Arrive at the Volunteer Tent no later than 10:30 am
o Greet guests
o Register participants for the costume contest
o Lead game/activity stations
o Keep tools/objects with the specified game (make sure they don’t get lost or
accidentally taken)
o Clean up garbage/litter during the festival (near food trucks, concert area and
game area)
o Tear down/clean up at the end of the event
