About the Race for Reconciliation
The wait is over! Registration has begun for Brooklyn’s favorite Thanksgiving Day tradition.
Prospect Park Track Club invites you to participate in our 23rd annual Turkey Trot: Race for Reconciliation, presented by Brooks Running—a joyful 5-mile race through our beautiful Prospect Park on Thanksgiving morning, November 27, 2025.

Runners will be assigned to waves based on their anticipated finish time. Please note that if you are assigned to Wave 1, you may move to Wave 2 to run with friends. Runners assigned to Wave 2 cannot move up to Wave 1.
*You must run in Wave 1 to be eligible for overall prizes.

$47 Regular bibs — from Monday, Sept 8 to sell out (and we always sell out)!

$100 Charity Bibs – from opening day until sell out
100% of charity bib proceeds go directly to our community partner, American Indian Community House (AICH).

Wave Closure: Waves close exactly 5 minutes after wave start (i.e., 8:20 AM for Wave 1 and 9:05 AM for Wave 2. Don’t be late!).

Bag drop and race-day bib pickup will be at Prospect Park's LeFrak Center at Lakeside (171 East Dr).

Packet Pickup Details & Locations
Pick up packets before the race at Brooklyn Running Company, 480 Bergen Street, Park Slope Location.
Pre-race pickup times:

Sunday, 11/23: 12:00–4:30 PM

Tuesday, 11/25: 2:00–6:30 PM

Wednesday, 11/26: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Pick-up slots end promptly at the stated time — no exceptions, so don’t be late!
Race-day pickup is available between 7:15 AM – 8:30 AM. But we highly recommend that you pick up early at Brooklyn Running Company.

Our top three overall finishers in each category (Men, Women, Nonbinary) will win a gift certificate to a local business.

Make your miles matter! By running with a charity bib, you’ll support critical programming at AICH. Not running with a charity bib? You can still donate to AICH during registration. Thank you for making a difference!
Post-Race Amenities
Runners are invited to enjoy bagels, hot chocolate, water, and apples at Duck Island café post-race at LeFrak Center at Lakeside (171 East Dr).
Spectators can purchase food or drink at the café for a race-day discount.
Race Results
Live results will be available on race day by clicking on View Results at pptc.org/turkey, and will be saved in your RunSignUp account. You may also elect during registration to have results sent via email and/or text message.
