Advocates Stroll & Roll Virtual 5K Run | Walk

Advocates remains dedicated to safeguarding the health of our race participants, employees, supporters, and Advocates' families. Therefore, our Stroll and Roll 5K Run/Walk will be held as a virtual event!  We invite you to participate in our Stroll & Roll Virtual 5K at your own pace during the week of October 3rd – 9th, 2020. You can join in the fun by strolling, rolling, or running a 5K (3.1 miles) safely at a location of your choice anytime during the week of October 3 through 9, 2020. This virtual 5K can be completed all at once or in several different walks! 

Race participants will receive a customized t-shirt, sunglasses, sunscreen, and much more. Packets will be mailed to each participant before October 3rd. Receive an Advocates' cooler by referring 10 racers!  In addition, Advocates will be hosting an on-line auction.  Please be sure to check out Advocates' Facebook page for more information.

All proceeds will benefit children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Central New York. Fee:  Adults $25; Children under 8 free. Additional t-shirts are $20 (includes tax).

Please note, a portion of the proceeds will support a new initiative for people with developmental disabilities by providing occupational and leadership skills training and expansion of workforce development opportunities offered in an inclusive setting.
