Description

Welcome to the 22nd year of the Hudson Valley Triathlon Club and its Summer Tri Series.  Join us for this Super Sprint Triathlon we think you will find challenging and a whole lot of fun!  Great for individuals and relay teams of all levels.  Held in the gorgeous setting of the Kenneth L. Wilson State Park near Woodstock, NY.  Two hours north of NYC and one hour south of Albany.

Known for many years as the "Unofficial World Championships" ~ we've got some fast, kick-ass triathletes that race with us. So, both seasoned triathletes and true beginners in the sport will find that this race is for them.

Hudson Valley Triathlon Club (HVTC) Summer Tri Series

Super Sprint: 400m swim, 12 mile bike and 2 mile run.  USAT sanctioned

Paratriathletes are welcome!   AquaBike option offered to individuals only, not relay teams.

Race just one of this three race series or all three.  Points are earned at every race and the Champion down to place #5, male/female, are honored at the end of the season.

Extremely beginner friendly.  NO CUT-OFF TIMES.  You will never be the only "first-timer" at the race.

Great sharpener for experienced racers.

SWIM COURSE

A quick 400m triangular course swim in the mountain stream-filled lake.

On-shore start. Wetsuit legal but not required.

We will allow you to wear a personal swim buoy for your comfort.  We do ask that you start at the back of the pack as to not interfere with other racers.

Certified lifeguard kayak support.

BIKE COURSE

It’s hilly, really fun, and a great challenge for every level rider.

The twelve-mile course is all right-hand turns.

No aid station on the bike course.  There is one aid station in transition before you head out on the bike.

Course is NOT closed to traffic.
