In memory of Ricky J. “Pit” Parisian New York State Police Investigator killed in the Line of Duty
The Pit Run is a challenging 6.2 miles through the scenic autumn hills of Oneonta, New York. The 10K
USATF Certified course begins on the Main Street bridge between Market and River Streets, passing
through the SUNY Oneonta campus and ending at Neahwa Park. Mile splits and water stations are
provided. Adequate parking is available in Neahwa Park. The Pit Run also offers a 5K race, a 2-mile stroll, and kids' fun runs.
