Description
5K (3.107 Miles) - A USATF sanctioned event over a USATF certified course covering a flat and pleasant 5 kilometers through the suburban roads of Plainview, New York.
Participants 16 and under in the live 5K Run/Walk and Wheelchair events receive 50% off through 11:59 PM the night before the event.
1/4 mile fun run for children 12 and under.
Charitable Beneficiaries
Proceeds from this race will help support the Deborah Tascone-Kennedy, RN Care Giver Center as well as benefit Plainview and Syosset Hospitals, helping to expand community initiatives including scholarship funds for local high school students and additional community health education programming.

- All in-person 5K entrants will be entered to win door prizes from the giant post-race door prize drawing with lots of prizes (must be present to win).
- All fun run participants will be given a finisher medal.

1/4 Mile Fun Run
The fun run is a 1/4 Mile run (one loop) around the middle school track. It is open to children up to age 12. All finishers will receive a medal.

LIVE RACE - Run/Walk and Wheelchair Events:
GLIRC Members and Northwell Health Employees get a $5 discount through October 28th, and Children 16 and under receive 50% off.

Individual Entry for in-person event - Adults: $35, $30 for GLIRC Members/Northwell Employees
Late Registration - Friday October 20th @ 12:00 AM - Saturday October 28th @ 11:59 PM Individual Entry for in-person event- Adults: $40, $35 for GLIRC Members/Northwell Employees
DAY-OF-RACE- Sunday October 29th 12:00 AM through 8:15 AM- Individual entry for in-person event - $45 for all

1/4 MILE CHILDRENS' FUN RUN:
Early Registration - Through Saturday October 28th 11:59 PM EST - Individual Entry for in-person event- $10 for children ages 12 and under.
Late Registration - Through Sunday October 29th1 @ 7:45 AM - Individual Entry for in-person event- $15 for children ages 12 and under.
VIRTUAL RACE:
Entry fee for virtual race is $35, $30 for GLIRC Members/Northwell employees. There are no awards for the virtual events. Registration will close at 8:15 AM on Sunday October 29 Results can be posted from 12:00 AM October 29 through 11:59 PM November 5.
Bib Pickup
Race check-in will take place at the POB Middle School, Southern Parkway parking lot.
Sunday, October 29 from 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM at race check-in. Absolutely no pick-up for 5k after 8:15 AM.
Fun Run check in closes at 7:45 AM.
It would be helpful if you knew your bib number when you arrived at bib pick-up.
You can pick up a bib for someone else. If possible please bring their bib number to facilitate pickup.
