Yes. There will be a secure area near check-in for runners to drop off gear for secure keeping while they race. This service will be complimentary.

For the safety of all participants, strollers are not permitted on the runner course. Spectators are allowed to bring a stroller.

Plan to arrive at the start line area 60-90 minutes before the start time to allow for parking, gear check, bathroom lines, and finding your corral.
Corrals are designated starting areas, organized by your estimated pace/finish time. You must start in the corral assigned to you (based on the time you submitted during registration).
Wear technical, moisture-wicking gear you tested during training. For cold starts, wear cheap "throwaway" layers you don't mind discarding right before the race, which are often donated to charity.
Aim to drink 4-8 ounces of fluid at most aid stations (typically every 1-2 miles), alternating between water and the provided sports drink.
We understand having your race soundtrack is pivotal to your performance. Look, you have to be aware of your surroundings and able to hear warning, sirens, etc. Be smart.
CELEBRATE! But Keep walking for several minutes to prevent blood pooling, grab water/sports drink, and put on warm, dry clothing immediately. NTM Staff will greet you with a water and snack too!
Finishers will be awarded their medal in the chute immediately after crossing the finish line.
Yes, there will be awards for the top male and female overall and active duty finishers. In addition, the Ten-Miler will include age group awards as follows: 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+.
