Teams - Competitive groups of 3-5 runners. Competitively scored as combined time of 3 fastest times.
Only available for the Navy Ten-Miler.
Groups - runners who identify by common affilitation to a specific Organization.
Available for all Events.
2027 Competitive Team Division
The Navy Ten-Miler is introducing a Competitive Team Division for the 2027 Race.
The Competitive Team Division for Teams is designed for runners looking to run with teammates and push their performance to a higher level. This open-format division encourages teamwork and high performance, allowing runners of any background to form a squad and race for the best cumulative time.
Whether you are representing your command, a local run club, or just a group of fast friends, this division is about pushing your limits and relying on your teammates to secure the win.

| Scoring Mechanism |
Team results are based on the combined fastest time of the top 3 finishing members. The lowest cumulative time wins. |
| Category Requirements |
One Standard - Open category. There are no restrictions or requirements for sex to form or compete as a team. |
Creating a Team
When registering any Team member has the opportunity to create a Team. After signing the waiver, by Selecting 'Yes' to Join or Create a Group/Team, you are allowed to Join an Existing Group/Team or Create a New Group/Team
Create a New Group/Team - You will select the Group/Team Type, and then create the Group/Team Name*.
- Select the Team type: Competitive Team Division
- It is highly recommended to create a Group/Team Password to protect membership.
Join an Existing Group/Team - You may use the Search feature or select from the drop down of created Groups/Teams.

You may Join or Create a Group after completing Registration.
All Group/Team names are subject to review by Race officials. Any name that is deamed innapropriate shall be removed immediately.
