🚗 PARKING

When you enter the park, turn into the first parking lot on your right and park near the pavilion, where check-in is located. Look for the Niekro Foundation signs and our team members, who will be there to help point you in the right direction.
There should be plenty of parking, but if the first lot is full, continue around the roundabout to the next parking lot near the dog park for overflow parking.

🏃‍♀️🧑‍🦽 THE COURSE

The 5K is three laps, with each lap approximately 1.1 miles.
Those going for speed will start first, followed by everyone else. Walk, run, roll, or move at your own pace. You can complete all three laps, or stop whenever you’ve had enough. There is no pressure to finish. We want you to participate in whatever way works best for you.
We’ll recognize 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in the men’s, women’s, and survivor categories, so if you’re there to race, give it your best!

🌦️ RAIN OR SHINE

We’re keeping our fingers crossed for beautiful race-day weather, but we’ll race rain or shine!
The only reason we would cancel or postpone the event is if severe weather creates unsafe conditions for our participants, volunteers, and staff, such as lightning or other dangerous conditions.
If weather impacts the event, we’ll communicate any changes as soon as possible by email and through our social media channels.

👕 SHIRTS & MEDALS

Your race bib and T-shirt will be available at check-in on race morning in the pavilion.Every participant will receive a 5K medal at the finish line.

🌮 AFTER THE RACE

Stick around after you finish! We’ll have breakfast tacos and water, recognize our incredible survivors, celebrate our participants, and honor those we have lost.

❤️ MOST IMPORTANTLY...

This isn't just a 5K. Every step you take helps raise awareness and support patients and families affected by aneurysms, AVMs, and stroke.

Thank you for showing up for this community. We can't wait to celebrate with you Sunday!
