Registration Policies

Registration Information

Online registration begins at noon on February 12th, 2026. Capacity for the 2026 No Business Hundred is 300 runners. There is no day-of or on-site registration.

Waitlist

Should the race reach capacity, interested registrants will have the option to sign up for the waitlist. Should a spot free up, an invite will be sent via email to the next person on the waitlist in the order that they registered. Should you receive an invite, you will have 48 hours to either accept or decline the invitation. After 48 hours, your invite will be invalid and the next person on the waitlist will receive an invite.

Refund and Withdrawal Policy for the No Business 100

At the No Business 100, we strive to create a runner-first experience while balancing the logistical challenges of hosting a premier trail endurance race. To this end, we have updated our Refund and Withdrawal Policy to be more transparent and fair for all participants.

Key Policy Changes

  • No Deferrals: We will no longer offer deferrals to future events (except limited hardship cases — see below).
  • Tiered Refunds: Refunds will be provided based on the timing when your spot is filled by another runner.
  • Waitlist Contingency: Refunds are contingent upon another runner taking your spot via the RunSignup conditional waitlist.
  • Registration Protection Insurance: While we do not offer 100% refunds, we do make RunSignup’s Registration Protection Insurance available at checkout. This insurance provides reimbursement for non-refundable registration fees if you are unable to participate due to covered reasons such as injury, illness, or unforeseen travel issues. For more details, review the policy during registration or visit the RunSignup Registration Protection page.

Tiered Refund Schedule

Refunds are only issued after your spot is filled by another runner from the waitlist. The refund percentage is based on the date the replacement runner completes registration (not the date you requested withdrawal).

When Replacement Runner RegistersDays Prior to Race (Oct 23, 2026)Refund Percentage
On or before June 23, 2026123+ days prior80%
June 24, 2026 – August 24, 202661–122 days prior50%
August 25, 2026 – October 8, 202615–60 days prior25%
On or after October 9, 202614 days or fewer0%

Refunds apply only to the base registration fee and exclude all processing fees (RunSignup fees, credit card fees, etc.).

Conditions for Refunds

  • Refunds are not automatic and are contingent upon another runner successfully registering from the conditional waitlist to fill your spot.
  • Once your spot has been filled, you will be notified by email, and the refund will be processed.
  • If your spot is not filled by the waitlist, no refund will be issued regardless of withdrawal timing.
  • The refund amount is determined by when the replacement runner fills your spot, not when you initiate the refund request.

Why This Policy?

This policy allows us to:

  • Provide more flexibility for runners who can no longer participate
  • Ensure fairness by filling event slots and minimizing the impact on other participants
  • Maintain the quality and experience of the No Business 100 for all involved

Transfers

There are no transfers to other runners. No exceptions.

  • Race numbers and entries cannot be transferred to another year or person.

Hardship Deferrals

In the event of an unforeseen hardship such as military deployment, pregnancy, death in the family, etc., you are welcome to defer your entry to the next calendar year race (or even two years out if you are trying to run for the double buckle). You must contact us directly at nobusiness100trailultra@gmail.com to discuss this option.

Note: Running injuries, weddings, vacations, graduations, to name a few, are not considered hardships eligible for deferrals. Contact us if you have any questions.

Weather & Acts of God Related Refunds/Credits

In the event the race is cancelled due to extreme weather, fire, flood, pandemic, terrorist threat/activity, or some other unforeseeable event, we cannot offer refunds. We will do everything we can to reschedule the event and defer all participants registered at the time of the postponement to the rescheduled date or offer a credit.

ANY race can be cancelled, postponed, or ended early by the Race Director, emergency medical personnel, or any of our associated land manager(s). Those decisions will be made based on an in-depth risk management assessment and with the overall safety of all involved (runners, spectators, volunteers, etc.) and land resource management in mind. We understand these difficult decisions may not be the most popular with all involved, but the decision will be made with proper risk management considerations in mind. Please understand that this is a risk we all assume in hosting and/or participating in these types of events.

Final Notes

With these policies we are trying to be as accommodating as possible. This is more than generous as we incur most costs early on in the planning process, and these policies represent our ability to reasonably provide options to runners who cannot attend, while keeping our entry fees low and quality high. Our policies are non-negotiable and go beyond what many other events in the industry are offering.

Those who behave in any disrespectful, threatening, dishonest, or unacceptable behavior with regards to our refund and credit policies will be banned from all future Ultranaut Running events.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. If you have any questions, please contact us at nobusiness100trailultra@gmail.com.
