Willkommen to the Kolping Society of Cincinnati’s Schützenfest 1K Bier Dash!!!

Runners will wind through a scenic 1K course through Kolping’s Biergarten and beautiful woods to create a one-of-a-kind experience. Whether you run, walk, or crawl, your challenge is to quench your thirst at not 1 but 2 beer stations along the way.

After completing the Bier Dash course, runners are awarded a delicious giant Servatii soft pretzel and a celebratory toast of fine German Schnapps at the finish line!

Schützenfest is a fantastic family-friendly experience! When you’re not conquering our 1K Bier Dash course, you will want to explore and enjoy our outstanding lineup of authentic German food, refreshments, and entertainment. Schützenfest features an excellent array of German beers, as well as our famous SchützenApfel Riesling wine. Our entertainment lineup is first class, featuring local and regional artists.

Race Info:

The Schützenfest 1K Bier Dash is an untimed, non-competitive fun run, and is the newest addition to Schützenfest, America’s Longest Running German Fest - Seit 1866!

The Bier Dash starts at 7:30 PM on Friday, June 16,2023 following Schützenfest’s opening ceremonies.

Runners will be taken on a scenic 1K course through Kolping’s Biergarten and beautiful woods to create a one-of-a-kind experience.

Whether you run, walk, or crawl, your challenge is to quench your thirst at 2 beer stations along the way.

Runners are encouraged to come dressed in German attire.

The Kolping Society of Cincinnati is located at 10235 Mill Road Cincinnati, OH 45231. Staging Area – join us behind our outdoor Pavilion Stage, following completion of the opening ceremonies.

Make sure to bring your ticket and ID to the admissions line at least by 7:00 PM, a half hour before the starting time.

All proceeds go to charitable causes.

Registration Fee:

$30 registration fee if signed up between now and Monday, Jue 5th, 2023 at midnight.

$40 from Tuesday, June 6th (12:01am) to race time on Friday, June 16th at 7:30pm.

No Refunds will be issued.

We will only be accepting online registrations the day of the race. 
Runners must check in on the day of the race to get a wristband and racing bib.
Runners without an ID will not be able to partake in the Schützenfest 1K Bier Dash.
THIS IS A 21 AND OLDER EVENT! YOU MUST HAVE A VALID PHOTO ID FOR ENTRY.
