In this unimaginably altered world, there are still so many opportunities to be a Superhero for kids locally and around the world. This year, we are hosting an event that is more important than ever. We, unfortunately, cannot gather for an in-person event and anxiously await the time we can in the future. Instead, we are hoping you will join us for our 2021 Race by either completing a 5K OR Activity Challenge at home. Because we are doing this virtually from our own homes, anyone can participate from every corner and community across the country, no matter your fitness level. We have a challenge you can proudly complete and celebrate physical wellness while supporting 2 amazing causes.
At Orphan World Relief, we build strong partnerships with churches, businesses, other nonprofit organizations, and people just like you to help children in crisis, kids entering foster care, families adopting, and in the future, kids aging out of foster care. Together we can make a difference!

The Hilliard Davidson band program has a long-standing tradition of excellence. It has consistently received superior ratings at district level competitions and has maintained superior ratings at the OMEA State Marching Band Finals for the past 40 years. The funds raised will help purchase and maintain quality instruments, uniforms, and provide supplemental educational opportunities for the students of the Hilliard Davidson band program.
Race packets may be picked up at Columbus Running Company's Dublin location during the week of April 26th. Exact dates and times TBD.
In addition to medals for those completing the event/challenge, we are providing some fun prizes to a few lucky participants. All prizes will be selected at random from our pool of completions on Monday and Tuesday, April 26th and 27th. Winners will be announced via social media, so be sure to like and follow us using the links above (all prize winners will also be contacted separately). Prizes will be placed with the winners’ packets and will be retrieved/shipped together.
For the Virtual 5K, you will complete your virtual event between April 19-23. See our help page on how to submit your virtual 5K results
For the Virtual Activity Challenge (for adults), between April 19-23 we're asking you to track and log the minutes you spend on physical activity. Any activity counts, indoor or outdoor. When you log your minutes, you can choose from default activities (run, walk, ride, outdoor family activity, gym workout, or yoga) or use the "other" category for anything else. Keep track of your minutes and then submit them to the site when you're done! See our help page on how to submit your activity minutes
