Columbia Gorge CASA Fall Family Run presented by McDonald's of the Gorge

We’re excited to return to the Mark O. Hatfield West Trailhead in Hood River for the Columbia Gorge CASA Fall Family Run presented by McDonald’s of the Gorge! 

Join us on October 3rd for a fun, family-friendly event set against the stunning backdrop of the Columbia River Gorge—all in support of Columbia Gorge CASA’s advocacy for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. The event includes a chip-timed 5K and a casual 1-mile jog/walk.

Rain or Shine - We are expecting good weather! 
The run will take place rain or shine, so come prepared for whatever weather the Gorge brings! We’re looking forward to a great day outdoors while supporting a meaningful cause.

Race entries are nonrefundable. Race insurance is available during online registration and may provide reimbursement depending on the coverage selected.

Hydration stations will be available along the race route, powered by Studio Fit.

Costume Contest
Our fall-themed costume contest returns this year! Come dressed in your best autumn-inspired look and show off your seasonal spirit.

Breakfast
Need a little fuel before or after your run? McDonald’s of the Gorge will be there with coffee and breakfast sandwiches! 

5K Awards
The top three fastest male and female 5K runners will each receive a medal and a pumpkin from Sandoz Farm.

Race Shirts
Participants must register by September 19 to be guaranteed a race shirt. Race shirts will be available for pickup on October 2 or 3. Shirts are not guaranteed to be available for pickup after race day. If you selected the race shirt only option, we will coordinate with you directly.

Parking & Arrival 
Parking is limited, so please arrive early! We recommend being on site by 8:20 AM if you picked up your packet on Oct. 2, or 8:00 AM if you still need to pick up your packet on race day. The main lot requires a State Parks parking fee or annual pass. Street parking is also available but may require some walking.
