Description
Come join the Hampton Community in Hampton Community Park (3101 McCully Road, Allison Park, PA.) for the 20th Annual Hampton Rotary Club Firecracker 5K on Saturday, July 4, 2026, 8:30 am, on the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. This is a Hampton tradition and a great Family event. Our challenging 5K run/walk or scenic 1M walk both route Hampton's newly improved Community Park. There's a t-shirt give away and participation medals for both the walk and the run with awards for overall and age group winners by gender.
Funds raised from this event support various educational and charitable activities sponsored by the Hampton Rotary Club. We deliver meals on wheels, provide high school and tech school scholarships, and at least on yearly project (like providing fresh dairy to those with food insecurity). Check out our donations page for more info.
The 2026 (Microfiber) T-Shirt
Yes, we have enough shirts and we probably have your size. But as of June 25 (the size guarantee deadline), you may see that we're out of your size. But that's unlikely. Registration begins at 7:30am at the Alcoa Pavilion.
The Course
Guess what? It's TWO BRAND NEW COURSES! The best part is that you won't need to walk as far after you finish either the walk or the run to find the pizza, refreshments, and Splash Lagoon Station (all splashing is voluntary).
The run now meanders through Hampton Community Park and around the High School. Luckily, it still includes the customary run up Topnick to the Hampton Rotary Water Station. Topnick, for those of you new to the Firecracker 5K, is leg of our race that separates a Hampton race from an ordinary one. But please don't be afraid to walk for a bit.
The Walk is shorter, flatter, suitable for strollers, and does a lap around Hampton Pond. Okay...truth bomb...I'm really not sure if that pond has a name but it's been recently upgraded and renewed.
Thank you, 2026 Sponsors!
