The North Park Half Marathon
RACE AT THE LAKE
On January 9th, experience the simple beauty of Western Pennsylvania's most popular running location - North Park! Starting from the Boathouse, this paved road course consists of two lake loops plus an out-and-back. After the race, be sure to stick around for refreshments and don't forget to check out North Park's must-see attractions including Gravity Hill and the Fountain of Youth! See you on Saturday, January 9th!
Race Start - 9:00 AM
AWARDS
Awards will be given to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female Open & Masters Finishers as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & Over. Awards will be based on gun time.

Pennsylvania's Largest Winter Half Marathon!
Ranked Pennsylvania's biggest and best winter half marathon in 2026. This is an event you don't want to miss. Participants receive free pizza, beer, and a hot drink along with swag items like a shirt and custom medal.
Parking
Parking is permitted along Tennis Court Rd., in the Boathouse parking lot, ice rink lot. Lake Shore Drive will be closed for the race and will not be open to parking. Additional parking can be found at the North Park swimming pool.
Course
The race course consists of two loops around the lake plus an out and back 5K at the end. It is a relatively easy course with some moderate rolling hills throughout. Check out the course on strava below.
Timing
This race is chip timed by Wolf Creek Race Management. Timing splits will be at miles 1.5, 5, 6.5, 10, & 11.5. Spectators can sign up for live text notifications at the button below.

Yes. You must complete the race in 4 hours (by 1:00 PM).
Yes.
Yes. All participants get a finisher medal and race shirt.
