American Perimeter Trail Conference, Miles to Home: Just Around the Bend

Help support Rue McKenrick and the American Perimeter Trail Conference on the final leg to connect his footsteps from Omak, Washington to Bend, Oregon. This signifies the completion of the first scouting hike of the American Perimeter Trail, and beginning of a large conservation and volunteer effort to create a protected corridor around the contiguous United States. Join us for a virtual 5k or challenge yourself to see how many miles you can hike, run or walk until Rue makes it home to Bend.

The American Perimeter Trail will be America's newest and longest premiere hiking trail at over 12,000 miles upon completion. Proceeds from this race go to supporting the last leg of his journey and the next steps to turning the American Perimeter Trail into a National Scenic Trail, similar to the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail and Continental Divide Trail.
