*IMPORTANT UPDATE: In response to the rapidly evolving COVID-19 pandemic and guidance from the CDC (and local, state and federal authorities), the 2020 Care to Carry On 5k/Walk will be cancelled this year. We value our Care to Carry On 5k family, and are prioritizing the health and safety of the community, families, volunteers, and vendors. It is with great sadness that the Event Committee must share this news, but we would like to personally thank everyone for their continued commitment and support for our cause. We are working diligently to resolve a large number of operational details this change creates. Please read carefully below for a few important updates, and note that further instructions will be available via email in the coming weeks.
2021 Event Date: We’re happy to announce that next year’s Care to Carry On 5k Run/Walk will be held on Saturday April 24, 2021 at the Philadelphia Zoo. Please save the date and stay tuned for more details!
Donating Registration Fee: Please consider donating your registration fee as a donation to support Camp Erin Philadelphia. The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting all aspects of our lives and your donation will go a long way in making sure Camp Erin Philadelphia has the funds to sustain future programming. Unfortunately, our registration system and credit card companies charge processing fees for every transaction. This includes refunds, which negatively affects our fundraising goals.
Refunds: Due to this unprecedented situation, we are currently working with our vendor to allow a refund option for registration and/or purchased t-shirts. We greatly appreciate your patience as we work through this process. Refund details will be forthcoming.
Donations: We thank everyone who has generously contributed to this year's fundraising efforts. Your donation will directly impact many children and teens throughout the Greater Philadelphia Region benefit from the Camp Erin program. All donations made for the event are non-refundable.
Donation Page: We will keep our donation page live until 4/25/20 and we encourage fundraising teams, fundraisers, and donors to continue raising funds through this date.
