Details

Help volunteers get checked in and ready to fill their role by handing out volunteer t-shirts, name tags and event information. Setup Bib Station for participants to write on their bibs in memory of who and why they care to carry on for.

Note: We ask that you arrive and check in at the Volunteer table by the Impala Lawn stage by 6:15am and be available to assist in race day duties until about 9:30am. We would appreciate if you could stay and assist with collection of items after race.

Details

Greeting participants and assist with checking them in, handing out packet pick-up, wristbands, race bibs and swag bags. Volunteers are required to use your cell phone and willing to download app onto their phone, and should be tech savvy!

Note: We ask that you arrive and check in at the volunteer table by the Impala Lawn stage by 6:00am and be available to assist in race day duties until about 8:45am. We would appreciate if you could stay and assist with collection of items or changeover of tables after race begins.

Course Marshal High Priority

Details

Assist course participants during the race/walk by pointing them in the proper direction, and help with any course clean up post-race as necessary. Duties include a proper understanding of the course, directing runners and keeping them safe along the route. Standing for long periods of time is required.

Note: We ask that you arrive and check in at the Volunteer table by the Impala Lawn stage by 7:15am and be available to assist in race day duties until about 9:45am. If you can assist before then or if you arrive early, we would love help with setup of tents, games, refreshments, signage, etc!!

Water Stop High Priority

Details

Dispensing and handing out water to course participants during the race - 1 water stop throughout the course. Duties include setting up the station, filling and stacking cups with water, handing beverages to runners as they come by, and cleaning up the area when race is over. Standing for long periods is required for this role.

Note: We ask that you arrive and check in at the Volunteer table by the Impala Lawn stage by 7:00am and be available to assist in race day duties until about 9:30am. If you can assist before then or if you arrive early, we would love help with setup of tents, games, refreshments, signage, etc!!
