From January through Mother’s Day, individuals, families, businesses and neighbors will be registering and fundraising for the 27th annual Komen Philadelphia Race for the Cure—one of the longest-running, most successful events in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure series, raising approximately $2 million annually for local programs as well as research.
Race day offers a family-friendly experience with something for everyone! From breast cancer survivors to those never diagnosed… athletes to casual walkers… families remembering the lives of loved ones they’ve lost, to groups celebrating victories over breast cancer… our Race is an opportunity for everyone to unite in a common mission. Key to our Race’s success are community donations and participant fundraising. 75% of funds raised stay local to the Komen Philadelphia Community Grants program and other breast health initiatives in our 15-county service area. 25% of funds support breakthrough research.
