Gold Rush Race 5K/10K 2025

The Tyrone Race Series presents The Gold Rush Race! 

The Gold Rush Race will be a 5k, 10k & Kids Sprint Event that will take place over Tyrone's Annual Tyrone Irish Heritage Celebration on March 15th, 2025! 

Proceeds from this year's Gold Rush Race Event benefactor is to be determined.  Suggestions of benefactor for the Tyrone community and surrounding areas for 2025 Gold Rush Race, please email runtrs1857@gmail.com.

Not a runner and still want to contribute? Open donations will be available if you click on donate at the top of the page. If your unable to donate money, please also consider donating your time! The start and finish line will be in front of Tyrone Armory.

Timeline of Events:

6:30 AM : Check in and day of registration will take place at Tyrone Armory 

• Address : 956 S. Logan Ave Tyrone, PA 16686

8:00 AM: 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run starts (Cutoff times for 10Ks is an hour and a half)

9:30 AM: Kids Sprint (50-100 Meter Dash)

10:00 AM: Awards and Closing Ceremony

Early Registration: Registrations may be mailed in or you may register on runsignup.com. Register by February 28th to be guaranteed long sleeve shirt.

Day of Race Registration: Race registration for the day of is only available from 6:30 AM to  7:30 AM

Cost: 

Gold Rush 5K/10K Adults (18+):

• Early Registration: $30
• Day of Registration: $35

Gold Rush 5K/10K High School Students (18 years & younger): 

• Early Registration: $15
• Day of Registration: $20

Gold Rush Kids Sprint Children 9 & Under:

• Early Registration with long sleeve shirt: $15
• Early Registration with no shirt: FREE
• Day of Registration: Free (No shirt)

*Registration includes a long sleeve shirt and race goodie bag: Youth S-L & Adult S - 2XL

Cancellation Disclaimer: In the event of a cancellation of Gold Rush Race, all proceeds will be given to benefactor. 

Inclement Weather: We will be monitoring the forecast and in the event of inclement weather the race will be postponed to a later date provided by the Gold Rush committee. Any updates will be  posted on the race website and on the Facebook event.
