Levante National Craft BEER Mile Championship presented by Burkholder Brothers Landscaping

Running can be even more fun with a BEER! 

We can't think of anything that goes together as well as running and a delicious local craft beer.  That's why we're teaming up Levante Brewing Company to bring you the West Chester Craft Beer Mile! 

Drink, Run, Repeat.

Competitors of the Levante Craft Beer Mile begin by drinking 1 - 12oz local craft beer and running a ¼ mile loop around the brewery grounds. Repeat the process three more times to complete the full mile. Four beers and four quarter miles as fast as you can.

Relay Teams (12:25 & 12:45 Heats Only)
Wanna run, but not sure about drinking 4 craft beers? Create a RELAY TEAM!! You can have a 3 or 4 person team to divide and conquer. Relay Teams are not eligible for the National Championship Heat. Relay Teams are not eligible for heat prizes.

* The cost for 1-3 person teams is $30 per runner. Once a 4th member joins the team the price drops to $25 and a $5 refund is issued for the first 3 members.

Participants Should Bring: 
Valid Photo Identification Card (21 Years and Older)
Registration Confirmation Email or Print Out
Money for the post-race party food trucks and beer

We provide the beer.
Our runners will enjoy Levante’s Birra Di Levante Pilsner. Runners will not be allowed to bring their own beer.

Beer Swag.
All participants will receive a custom Levante Craft Beer Mile National Championship Growler with their registration.  This will surely be a collector's item.
*** Beer Mile participants will also be provided with 4 Levante beers for their mile race. 

Professionally Timed.
Our 2018 event will be professional timed by the Chester County Running Store and will utilize MyLaps Bibtag timing for fast, accurate results. Runners will receive email notifications upon completion to check out their race time, pictures, and rankings with the ability to share everything on social media.  The 11:30 heat will be the National Craft Beer Mile Championship.  The prizes will befit a National Championship Event.  

Conditions and Rules of the Event:

This event is open to all individuals of legal drinking age that are willing to challenge their "digestive athletics".

All participants will need to bring a valid photo ID. We will not refund entrants who are under the age of 21 that show up to race. We also require that participants identify a designated driver for their ride home.

Beer must be consumed within the transition area designated by Levante Brewing Company. The transition station will have a roped off and tented area for participants.

Participants will receive an official bib and wristband to identify their participation in the event. Runners without the appropriate wristband and bib will not be allowed into the beer drinking station.

Other than the National Championship Heat, this is a FUN, UNOFFICIAL Beer Mile and we will be following modified Beer Mile Rules.

Race officials reserve the right to reject the race entry of any participant(s) that are deemed unsafe or unfit to participate. If a participant's entry is revoked no refunds will be issued.

The Race Committee may delay or cancel the event if the conditions on race day are unsafe. In the event of a cancellation no refunds of the entry fee or any other costs in connection with the event will be given. In the event of a cancellation all proceeds will be donated to the named charity of the event.

Participant Safety. 
Participant and spectator safety is priority #1 for the Levante Craft Beer Mile. You must be 21 years or older to participate, spectate, or be a designated driver. No exceptions. No one will be allowed to enter the Levante Brewing Company grounds without a valid ID. No ID = No entry. Participants and spectators are responsible for making appropriate arrangements for safe transportation post event. There is no requirement, rules or pressure to drink any of the beers on course or in the after party area. Each participant in the Beer Mile chooses, at their own discretion, whether they want to stop at a beer station or not. The beers provided during the one mile course are completely voluntary and each participant is limited to one (1) beer at each station. Water will be available at each beer station and we encourage everyone to party responsibly with us.
