Buses
Buses will be available for the following:
- Transportation from offsite parking to Race Start
- Transportation from Race Start to Race Finish for volunteers and spectators
- Transportation from Race Finish to Race Start and offsite parking post-race
Transportation from offsite parking to Race Start
Starting at 5:30AM, buses will be available at the off-site parking bus stop at Racquet Club and Highway 111 (see Parking for more information). These buses will make the 1/2 mile journey to Race Start at the Palm Springs Visitors Center. These buses will run until approximately 7:00AM.
Transportation from Race Start to Race Finish for volunteers and spectators
For spectators wishing to go to the Start Line and all volunteers, we will have two buses departing from the Start Line at approximately 6AM and 6:15AM. You must park at the designated parking area (see Parking for more information), then take the bus or walk to the Start Line bus dropoff. Proceed through Security to the Spectator/Volunteer bus stop. These are the ONLY buses that will transport spectators and volunteers to the Finish Line area.
Transportation from Race Finish to Race Start and Tram Road Challenge Parking
Post-race, buses will be available to take participants and spectators down Tram Way to the Race Start and parking areas. Buses will be staged in Palm Springs Aerial Tramway lot ___. Once race officials receive clearance from Tram leadership (approximately 8:30AM), buses will descend Tram Way, stopping at Race Start first and parking second. Buses will run until all participants, spectators and volunteers have been transported down from Race Finish.
