Q: What do I need when I pick up my packet? 
A: The easiest way to redeem your packet is by showing us your confirmation email with your unique QR code for the race 

Q: Can I pick up someone else's hat at packet pickup?
A: Yes! You're welcome to pickup friends & family's items!

Q: What time does the race start?
A: The Kids Events will begin at 8:45am and the 5K Run/Walk will begin at 9:00am. 
Due to the parking arrangements, we recommend anyone participating in either event plan to arrive no later than 8:30am.

Q: Where can I park?
A : There are a number of available parking locations around Lansing Shuffle. You can reference City of Lansing's parking locations for additional details.

Q: Where is the start/finish line?
A: The race starts and finishes outside the Lansing Shuffle, along the Lansing River Trail. You can view the entire course map here: Course Map

Q: Is the course timed?
A: This course will not be timed. Enjoy running or walking at whatever pace you'd like and enjoy the downtown Lansing sites! 

Q: Can I walk the 5K?
A: Absolutely! Walkers are welcome. We just ask that you start toward the back for everyone’s safety.

Q: Are strollers or dogs allowed?
A: Yes, both strollers and dogs are welcome on the event course. 
If you are bringing your furry friend, please plan to keep them leashed. While at Lansing Shuffle, please follow their pet policy. 
If you are participating with a stroller, we recommend starting from the back of the line up to ensure everyone's safety. 

Q: Will the race be held rain or sleet or snow?
A: Yes, the race will go on in most weather conditions. In the event of extreme weather, updates will be posted on our Playmakers social media pages as well as race emails.

Q: Will all Lansing Shuffle businesses be open after the event?
A: We will announce which restruants may be serving a special menu on the morning. 

Q: Can I exchange my hat choice if I change my mind?
A: We hope you love your hat! If you decide you’d prefer a different style, you’re welcome to call or stop into Playmakers (517-349-3803) beginning Wednesday after the event to check availability for an exchange.

Q: Are there official times, finisher medals, or awards?
A: This is a noncompetitive fun run/walk style event with no timing or awards. All particpants will recieve a commemorative finisher medal that can also be turned into a fun festive ornament!
