VIRTUAL CHALLENGE INFORMATION
Steps to Sobriety, Miles of Support
Below are some tips to make sure you get the most out of your virtual challenge experience:
Join a Group/Team
During the registration process, you will have the option to start a new team or join an existing one. Connect with your family and friends to see what team can log the most miles!
Make an Extra Donation or Sign Up to Fundraise
You will also have a chance to make an extra donation or sign up to fundraise. Each dollar helps us provide awareness and support to anyone affected by drug and alcohol abuse. Donations will help us carry on our mission and continue offering our programs.
Receive Your Event Swag
We will have an opportunity for you to pick up your event materials either in person or we can mail them to you. Check out the Packet Pickup section for all of the details. The deadline for mailing is March 25th so don't wait!
You can also download a digital race bib from your RunSignup profile!
Start Moving
You can run, walk, bike and swim anywhere you like: your neighborhood, your favorite trail, your treadmill, or your local pool. Any miles accumulated from April 1st - April 30th will count toward the challenge!
Submit Your Miles
Each day, you can submit your miles on the runsignup.com results page. Results will automatically update as they are submitted. You can check the standings to see how you stack up against the competition.
Follow these steps to submit your April activity:
- Log-in to your RunSignup account and go to your profile.
- Scroll to your events and find the Rage Against Addiction Memory Walk/Recovery Run.
- Select "Submit Virtual Results" and upload your workout.
- Don't hesitate to reach out with any issues - info@roadandtrailevents.com
The deadline to submit all of your April activities is May 5th. After May 5th, the virtual results will be finalized.
Don't forget to check out your awesome finisher certificate on your results page!
Note: Your activity must be tracked as a Walk/Run/Bike/Swim to be eligible for reporting. For example, accumulating general steps throughout the day will not count, but going for a walk or run (in the gym and outside) will count.
Share Photos
We would love to see pictures of you as you embark on this challenge. You can also submit photos of loved ones to celebrate their recovery or of loved ones lost to this disease. Feel free to post as many photos as you like during the mile reporting process or directly to the RunSignup photo page.
