Every dollar raised through Ruck4HIT supports Heroes In Transition programs that serve veterans, active-duty service members, and military families. While the miles matter, fundraising is what fuels the mission.
Fundraising Minimums
• Jethro Division: $5,000
• Jones Division (7 ruckers): $5,000
• Jones Division (8–14 ruckers): $8,000
• HELOS Division: $5,000
Fundraising Basics
The most effective way to raise money is by sharing your personal story. Update your individual fundraising page with a photo, explain why you're participating, and share your page with friends, family, and colleagues.

Ways to Raise Funds
Donations
Collect donations directly through your individual or team fundraising page. Offline cash and check donations can be added to your total by contacting events@heroesintransition.org.
Sponsorships
Business sponsorships are one of the most effective ways to reach and exceed your fundraising goal. If you know a business owner, employer, or organization that wants to support veterans, service members, and military families, invite them to become a Ruck4HIT sponsor.
A sponsorship secured by a participant or team can be credited toward that individual's or team's fundraising total. Sponsorships not only help you reach your goal faster but also expand Heroes In Transition's impact throughout the community.
Before approaching a potential sponsor, feel free to contact our sponsorship team: rucksponsors@heroesintransition.org. We can provide materials, answer questions, and help guide the conversation to ensure sponsors receive the recognition and benefits associated with their sponsorship level.
Host a Fundraiser
Host a golf tournament, cornhole tournament, raffle, restaurant night, or other community event to support your fundraising goal. Heroes In Transition may be able to provide HIT merchandise for raffles and prizes. Contact events@heroesintransition.org for support and event ideas.
